Say or type something and Blurt pulls real matches from your nearest Kroger-family store (Fred Meyer, QFC, Ralphs, and other Kroger banners) — live from Kroger's product API. You can blurt more than one item at once, like "carrots and potatoes." Pick a price and it collapses down to your choice; Blurt will periodically recheck and flag it if a better price shows up. Nothing here is a real cart — it's a running estimate. Aisle numbers, when Kroger has them mapped for a store, let you sort your list into a rough shopping order.

About your location: If you check "remember this ZIP" when setting your location, Blurt will bring it back automatically each time you open the app — nothing more precise than your ZIP is ever saved, and you can uncheck that box anytime. If it's been about an hour since your location was last checked, the location bar will still gently highlight and suggest tapping Update — handy if you built your list at home and are now shopping somewhere else. Tapping Update re-checks the nearest store, keeps any picks that are still available there, and reopens anything that isn't as a fresh choice.

Voice/typed commands: "clear list", "refresh location", "recheck prices", "clear picked up", "pick cheapest for all", "remove bananas" (removes a matching item), "find cheaper eggs" (switches a matching item to its cheapest option), "what's my total", "set budget to $50", "increase/decrease budget by $10", "clear budget", "what's my budget", "recipe for chicken parmesan" (jumps to Recipe Search), "surprise me" (rolls a random recipe), "start/exit shopping mode", and "go to shopping/recipes/saved" all work as spoken or typed commands instead of being added as items.
